A group of Brazilian Flag Bearers were among the first to see one of these dead cities with the Phoencian like writing on the base of a huge statue pointing north in the s. They sent a message describing the city back to Rio de Janiero. They decribed the city as being ruined ide a a great earthquake. It was made of megalithic stones.
In one area was seen a statue of a youth wearing a laurel wreath. This reminds one of chronii Inca practice of Inca royal youth who ran races and then received laurel wreaths upon the end of these races.
