I am looking for an operators manual for a Fanuc 3 T controller used on a small Wasino gang lathe. Any help would be appreciated. Going to.

Fanuc 3T Parameters Manual
Results 1 to 12 of Results 1 to 10 of I have manial original maintenance manual, but I could not find any parameters that seemed relevant. Thanks fomaz, I already have the original yellow floppy maintenance manual which theoretically describes all of the “non-option” parameters. Fanuc paramater’s Yaddatrance are you in the US Location?
I have a “random” zero which is wherever the table was on power-up.
First If you can post more pic’s, How Deep did you go into the mechinacal of the Lathe Bearing’s fanyc such I have machine of the same model I have maintnace manual’s and programing with paramiter list’s If I can Help at pressent mine is down with a spindel drive issue I have Igbat’s to replace and have so far replaced one the local frelance Fanuc tec told me that the top one was the most likley to be the one dead but no change in symptom’s after changing it will move on and test as I mqnual to hopefuly find the proublem.
Look’s like you have a Hydro unit I don’t have for the draw bar. The time now is I have work offsets fnuc I can set with G10, G54, etc.
Fanuc 3t Manuals
Is that even possible on a 3T control? This one was fun, since it came missing the plexiglass danuc, I used a homebrew laser cutter to make the new ones. Parameter 8 relates to axis parameters for reference counter and multiplying ratio. In any event, it seems to be new enough to support tool offsets.

For anyone else in the future who has the same question, I took fordav11’s solution and implemented it like this.
You will need it several times. From his recollection, the 3T normally has 20m 8KB of memory and is expandable to 40m onboard, up to 80m with additional memory cards. I’ve cut a couple things on it since the G50 discovery, the first cut was this buffer.
I know I had to tweak a bunch of parameters on mine because even though the original company bought a lot of options, it’s obvious they never used a lot of them since the related parameters either had default values or nothing.
And that zero is relative to the location of the table at poweron, not relative to the absolute machine zero. When you program the job make sure you have G28 U0 W0 at the end of each tool. So here’s some before pictures. Tha thing look’s like a shot pin to lock the slindel to suport a barfeed or maybe index for live tooling work I have tryed to call out index on mine with no luck but the param.
Now does anybody know what is needed to upgrade to 80m? When I power the machine on, it sets zero as where-ever the table currently sits. Then I went on to the drive and the Igbat’s. What did they use originally? Thank you that would be very helpful as the photo of the param. I have 6T and 0T maintenance manuals but I dont suppose the parameter list from these will work or can some be used just to check if the Hydraulics come on etc.
I would recommend to you to create a thread asking for the parameter manual for your model. Another thing that originally threw me for a loop was that the X axis was specified in diameter. I have a Fanuc 3T Maintenance manual but nothing Tsugami specific, Fanuc referred me to Tsugami, and those guys told me to talk to Remington Sales who disavowed all knowledge of this unit.

We should also compare parameters and diagnostics.
By the way good work on the retrofit. I have tool offsets which are settable from the MDI. Those will not fix your power-on issue but you should check the actual axis movement and compare to readout to ensure the amount of movement is the same. 3tt
Mine has serial so they’re probably real close! Specifically, how the displayed ‘zero’ is related to the machine reference coordinates. Imagination will take you everywhere.
I’m working with a manual chuck for now and I have a collit spindel for it as well.
Anybody know if thats an option you can add afterwards? Similar Threads fanuc 11m parameters By sootblower in forum Fanuc. Me Where exatly are you I’m in the midwest U. Now from what can see, Tsugami may not have made the actual spindle. But all of the information I can find seems to imply that its only used after major operations like replacing the servo or ballscrew and where you need to realign turrets and such.
